Having amassed such a large back catalog, it was a tough task for Logan to compile these 14 unreleased tracks from the last 15 years:

LOGAN: “The opening track is surprisingly funky! It’s a forgotten gem from 2008 that was simply labelled “Groove#1” It starts with a fun vocal recording from Marlie that finally helped to name the track!"

LOGAN: “About half of the tracks have a song-like structure.. that guide the listener on a pre-defined path, but there are also some shorter free-form pieces that simply emote a feeling or a place, like “Feelings Frozen in Time”, “Dream Halo” or “Last Rains”
The oldest track on the cassette “Hochzeit Kommt” from 2006 was written as theme for my stag holiday in Berlin. It’s a bizarre mixture of Italo pop, church bells and brooding Germanic undercurrents!”

LOGAN: “Unlike typical dance music, these tracks have plenty of drama and evoke many emotions with unexpected turns, highs and lows. I’ve always been told that my music is quite filmic, in an early 80s way, like John Carpenter. “Last Rains” and “Frozen Mannequins” sound like they’re lifted from the backdrop of a bleak, rainy, dystopian film.
Also I’m also hoping that listeners can start to enjoy some of the instrumental versions, without vocals, for example “The Distance” really broods, swells and grinds. It’s quite entrancing..”

A Secret Wish is still an album I play to this day. It has never waned. I actually think it has got better with age. I'm not a fan generally of live recordings but this is one I love listening to. And Disziplin is on here too. Just as I remember it on The Tube. Who could ask for anything more? Just wish I would have been there but this is the next best thing. ❤ bazgray
